An Open Book

| Lilian Garcia | Joining me now is Brian Kendrick.

After last week's interaction with Todd Grisham, Brian Kendrick had found it difficult to find anyone willing to interview him. Hence why the task had been granted to Lilian Garcia who typically isn't given these duties. Despite this, she didn't look entirely comfortable as well as she stood backstage. A large EBWF banner had been placed behind her and Kendrick was leering at her, giving her, and more specifically the dress she wore, a look over.

| Lilian Garcia | Brian, you are set to face off against hardcore legend Mick Foley. But before th--

| Brian Kendrick | Do you remember last week? When I did my interview from Todd Grisham's hotel room? I really wish it could have been yours.

The situation was made even more comfortable due in part to the fact that Kendrick was currently dressed in his ring attire and his white biker jacket. Not a great deal of clothing. His hair was wet and damp and a few strands were slung in front of his face. He continued to stare at Lilian as he slowly drug his tongue across his lips.

| Brian Kendrick | I want you because you don't want me. It's so much more fun that way.

| Lilian Garcia | L-Let's watch the footage from the closing moments of last week's Aggression.

A clip was rolled of Brian's run-in with Edge. It didn't end so well for the Royal Rumble winner. He left the night without any air in his lungs and his face covered in blood. This striking image lingered for a few moments before cutting back to Lilian and Brian.

| Lilian Garcia | Needless to say, this caught the attention of everyone in the EBWF.

| Brian Kendrick | What can I say? I said if I got a hold of Edge I would kill him. And I just about did, didn't I? He had it coming. He tossed me out of the Rumble and he cheated me out of my title victory at Fallout. But I get the feeling he isn't going to be poking his nose where it doesn't belong again. I think he is going to play if safe and stick with John Cena. Or he will if he has any common sense. Then again I wasn't entirely satisfied. So if he would like me to hurt him even more I would kindly oblige him.

| Lilian Garcia | Speaking of playing it safe, I don't think that is going to be the case when you take on Mick Foley tonight.

| Brian Kendrick | I understand exactly what is going on here. Very clearly. I've beaten John Cena multiple times. I nearly ended the number one contender last week. Whomever is in charge is hoping and praying that Mick Foley can take me out. They're hoping that he can do something to stop me. Mick can take some punishment. He knows how to swing a chair. He can fall off something really well. ..But he can't..stop..me..

The last few words trickle out in a lower, methodical tone of voice to exemplify the impact of the statement.

| Brian Kendrick |
Mick Foley has made the mistake of writing a very gripping account of his life from infancy to adulthood. I've read it cover to cover and many others have as well. Very enthralling stuff. But it leaves him as little more than an open book. He is a man that wears his heart on his sleeve. And if there is any truth in his own publications I know that Mick Foley looks at me and grows envious. I am exactly what Mick Foley wanted to be. One of his earliest childhood persona's was Dude Love. He wanted to be adored by women. He wanted to desperately to be attractive and loved. But, alas, it wasn't meant to be. He never got the girls. All he ever got was beating after beating after beating. And now look at him. He's an ugly, sewer dwelling, one eared troll. He has missing teeth. He's overweight. I liken him to Quasimodo. A freak.

| Lilian Garcia | But how can you say that? Mick Foley has a considerable and loyal fan base.

| Brian Kendrick | He is what you might refer to as a lovable loser. Those people don't love Mick Foley. They just like watching him hurt himself. And he has to. Not a single person would care about the man if he hadn't spent his entire career mutilating himself. It's sick in a way, isn't it? That he had to do this to himself to gain their acceptance. He's battered himself beyond belief and his body must be in a constant, agonizing pain. But then look at me..

Kendrick opened up his jacket and trailed his eyes along his body.

| Brian Kendrick | I'm a pretty good looking guy. You know, in Japan, they wanted me to work a Leonardo DiCaprio gimmick because well..I'm god damn sexy.

Taking Lilian's hand, he forced a few of her fingers to glide across his stomach. She jerked away but he seemed to enjoy this resistance.

| Brian Kendrick | Oh, c'mon, don't fight it. Who would you rather wake up with? Me or Mick Foley? Tell me.

Lilian remained tight lipped but you could tell that she was hating this situation she had found herself in.

| Brian Kendrick | Aw. Always the professional, aren't we? So straight laced. Such a good girl. Wait. That word. Good. Another difference between Mick and myself. Mick, despite being a bumbling oaf of a human being has managed to find his niche in society. He is, despite his many, many problems, a good person at heart. Me? Not so much. I know he's done some violent and appalling things to his opponents. His finisher is shoving his fingers into someone's mouth for Christ's sake. ..To be honest with you, that's how most of my dates end up. But he has his limits. He has his restrictions. He has a family and children. He doesn't have anything to prove anymore.

Stepping towards Lilian, he backed her into a corner as she timidly held the microphone forward and attempted to not look Kendrick directly in the eyes.

| Brian Kendrick | I still have a lot to prove. So much. When I choked out both Wade Barrett and Edge last week I proved I should be fighting for the World Title. This week I'm going to prove that Mick Foley, "The Hardcore Icon", is a relic. I'm what hardcore means today. I deal in reality and that is something that Mick clearly struggles with. Do you want to know what the reality of the situation is, Lilian? Of all the horrible beatings Mick Foley has endured in his life? This one is going to be his worst. I intend on leaving him with brain damage. Or..more than he already has. But I'll leave just enough for him to be able to pick up a pen and write. Because I want him to be able to write a chapter in his next book that details every last excoriating detail.

Kendrick is practically breathing down Lilian's neck at this point. But just when she feels as though she's going to break he swiftly stomps away from her. She motions to the camera to cut the feed.
