Like The Exorcist, But More Breakdancing

The last time Brian Kendrick was in Texas he invaded Shawn Michaels' home and beat him up in front of his wife. Good times, great memories. But that was then. Things had changed. He had been knocked out of some dumb ass tournament to participate in an Elimination Chamber match for the World Title in the first round. Despite the fact that no one had jumped through more hoops than he had to get a shot and he had already beaten seventy five percent of the roster. A miscarriage of justice if there had ever been one. He had a spot on the pay per view card but it wasn't for what he so rightfully deserved. It was an "I Quit" match against Ted DiBiase, someone he had faced at WrestleMania. But he simply just LOVED being in these physically exhausting and mind numbing types of matches without being properly rewarded. His good friend Paul London lived in Texas so Brian strolled up to his home and gave the door a few knocks. After getting no response, he flicked the cigarette that had been hanging from his mouth into a patch of bushes and let himself in.

Brian had heard from many different sources that his mental well being was questionable. But even he thought Paul was strange. He had a very nice looking home from the outside but almost no furniture of any kind inside. Tchaikovsky's "Winter Daydreams" could be heard in the bare living arrangements as well as a very strange sight. Tiffany, dressed in a tight ballerina's leotard performing a few ballet inspired moves. About as well as one could hope from someone who had never performed the craft. Ever since seeing that lesbian scene in Black Swan, Brian had developed a thing for ballerina's so this was a pleasant surprise. Tiffany paused in front of him and her face began to quiver. She clung ridiculously tight to him and buried her face into his chest. Kendrick was all about physical activities but all of this? He didn't need it.

| Brian Kendrick | Get off me!

Try as he might, he couldn't remove her. London slowly entered the room, clad in a Hawaiian shirt and board shorts. He held a cool glass of lemonade in his hand and gave a large wave to his pal.

| Paul London | Greetings.

| Brian Kendrick | What did you do to her?

| Paul London | Improved her. Gave her a bit of class.

| Brian Kendrick | Well, un-do it. I need her for my match.

London took a sip from his glass from the straw floating in it.

| Paul London | Ah. Against young Theodore? I don't think you can beat him.

| Brian Kendrick | What?

| Paul London | He beat you before didn't he? At Wrestlemania?

| Brian Kendrick | I had just had a match before I wrestled him! Against Johnny Curtis!

| Paul London | I don't even know who he is.

| Brian Kendrick | The technical abilities of Johnny Curtis know no bounds.

| Paul London | Do you even remember who Johnny Curtis is?

Kendrick ceased his struggling with Tiffany and paused. He scratched a couple of fingers along the side of his long hair.

| Brian Kendrick | No.

| Paul London | Exactly.

| Brian Kendrick | Do you really think I'm going to let someone like Ted DiBiase make me say "I quit"? There is NO god damn way. He would have to kill me first. And I don't think a new haircut and a tattoo is going to let him do that.

| Paul London | But he has Paul Heyman in his corner now.

| Brian Kendrick | And Paul Heyman has a skullet. So? Big deal.

| Paul London | Questionable hair choice aside, Paul Heyman is one of the greatest minds in our business. He's been able to make something out of far less than DiBiase. I know your reckless state of mind has got you this far but I don't think it's going to help you in a match like this. You need to have clear thoughts.

Normally, Brian would have told anyone telling him this to "fuck off". But Paul was probably the only person on the planet that he considered a friend. Therefore, he took this into consideration.

| Brian Kendrick | What exactly do you suggest I do then?

| Paul London | Follow me to the meditation garden. Everything will be made very clear.

| Brian Kendrick | And could you get her the HELL OFF ME?!

Paul stepped over to a table where he grabbed a rusted butcher knife by it's handle. When Tiffany lifted her head up to see this she quickly ran off into the opposite room in a panic.

| Brian Kendrick | Effective. But you need permission the next time you decide to play with my lackies.

| Paul London | Noted.

London placed his arm around Kendrick and led him off towards the back yard of his home.

--------
Michael Cole had arrived in the so called "meditation garden" of Paul London. Covered with grass and bushes, there were also stone benches all set up in a small labyrinth like formation. Tree's and other foliage also surrounded this sacred space. In the center were a series of concrete circles, almost like a crop formation. Cole looked about his surroundings. He wasn't used to interviewing Brian Kendrick somewhere so sunny. It was usually in some run down or unsavory location. But then again, he wasn't exactly complaining about this development.

| Michael Cole | EBWF fans, I am here in the back yard of one of our very own superstars: Paul London.

London, who was lounging on a lawn chair in the background, lifted his drink to the sky.

| Michael Cole | Also present is the controversial and unpredictable Brian Kendrick. This Sunday at Death Before Dishonor he's going to be facing Ted DiBiase in an I Quit Match. I'm hoping to get some insight from him about this contest.

Kendrick could be found sitting in a full lotus position in the center of the garden atop one of the concrete circles in the very center. He was dressed in a pure white robe with a hood pulled tightly over his head. His neck rotated in a slow circle and he seemed to be in deep concentration. Cole was confused by this but also thankful that his well being wasn't being threatened. As Cole approached, Kendrick seemed to snap out of his daze. He rose to his feet with his hands folded together and held closely to his chest.

| Michael Cole | ..Brian..Kendrick?

| Brian Kendrick | How can I help you through your journey of life?

| Michael Cole | Well, I was hoping I could ask you some questions about your upcoming I Quit Match with Ted DiBiase.

| Brian Kendrick | The last time I faced Ted he was carried away as the victor. And I say this because he was given a concussion following the contest courtesy of a steel cage door. The question must be asked..who was truly the victor in this endeavor?

| Michael Cole | That is a good point. But in this match you must force your opponent to verbally admit defeat.

| Brian Kendrick | Yes you must crush their body as well as their spirit. My body can be mangled and torn apart. But not my spirit. This body is merely my vessel. My spirit is something more. Something that cannot be trampled. It is bright and endless. I am capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable. And I will never concede defeat.

| Michael Cole | Ted DiBiase has shown a far more vicious and violent side as of late. He even has Paul Heyman as his adviser. A man who knows a thing or two about extreme. Don't you believe he's going to pull out all the stops not to have to utter those humiliating words?

| Brian Kendrick | How quickly we forget. I am the same person who nearly set John Cena ablaze. I retired Mick Foley. I have no shortage of ideas in which to make Ted give in to my will. And I will find peace in his anguish.

Underneath of his hood, Kendrick can be seen flashing the same deranged grin he usually gets whenever he has his opponent in a vulnerable position.

| Michael Cole | So you feel as though Ted DiBiase doesn't have it in him to make you say those two words?

| Brian Kendrick | Not just Ted DiBiase. No one. No one can take my dignity away from me. No force on Earth is powerful enough to do it. I will not allow myself to be crucified in such a degrading away. I will not allow everything I have fought for to go to waste simply due to two words. It is a state of impossibility that I can never reach. My mind is at ease. But at Death Before Dishonor I will unleash all the horrors of the world onto DiBiase. And when it's over I will rob him of something he cherishes more than anything else. His pride. If you will excuse me..

Kendrick drops back down to his meditation stance and his head begins to circle once more.

| Brian Kendrick | I must further meditate upon my victory. Please leave me. And peace be with you. God has a plan for you.

Cole gives a curt nod and backs away. The camera pans underneath of Kendrick's hood and that wild grin is still very evident upon his face.
